This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have over your information. It applies to themtgstandard.com, the loan products we offer, and any related interactions you have with us by phone, email, text, or in person.
By using our website or applying for a loan with us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you apply for a loan, request a quote, or interact with us, you may provide information such as:

Information we receive from third parties

4. How we share your information
We share your information only when necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Specifically, we may share information with:
Lenders and investors
To find you the best loan, we share your application and supporting documents with mortgage lenders and investors. These companies have their own privacy practices and use your information to underwrite your loan.
Service providers
Companies that help us operate our business: credit bureaus, appraisers, title and escrow companies, insurance companies, document signing platforms, payment processors, customer relationship management software, and similar providers. They are contractually bound to use your information only to perform services for us.
Legal and regulatory disclosures
We disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities. We also disclose information to comply with state and federal mortgage licensing rules and to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
With your consent
If you ask us to share information with someone (your real estate agent, attorney, financial planner, or family member), we will do so based on your authorization.
Business transfers
If we sell, merge, or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and provide choices about your information if this happens.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your information to anyone for marketing purposes.
5. GLBA privacy notice
Under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), mortgage brokers must explain how they handle nonpublic personal information. Here is our notice:
- What we collect: The categories described in Section 2, including identifiers, financial information, and credit information.
- What we share: We share your information with affiliates, service providers, and lenders as needed to process your loan application, as described in Section 4.

6. Your rights and choices
Marketing opt-out
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send, or by replying STOP to any marketing text message. You can opt out of phone marketing by telling our representative on a call.
Access and correction
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate. Contact us at the information in Section 12.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including:
- The right to know what categories of personal information we collect, use, share, and sell
- The right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
- The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, web beacons, local storage) to operate our website, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

Mortgage records are typically retained for at least three years after the loan closes or your application is denied or withdrawn, in accordance with federal and state requirements. After that, we either delete it or anonymize it so it cannot be linked to you.
10. Children's privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we may notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
